Road side memorials

The Roadside Memorials Policy sets out guidelines for the erection of memorials at accident sites on Council road reserves.

The Road Side Memorials Policy sets out guidelines for the erection of memorials at accident sites on Council road reserves.

The Policy does not require consent to erect these memorials but it contains guidelines concerning the size and location of them to enable Council to minimise any risk the memorials may pose to motorists or pedestrians and will assist Council in maintenance operations around them.
