Council has made a commitment to organise a collection site and run collections for chemical users / farmers to drop off their empty clean containers for inspection.

 

drumMUSTER is the national program for the collection and recycling of empty, cleaned, non-returnable crop production and on-farm animal health chemical containers.

Council has made a commitment to organise a collection site and run collections for chemical users / farmers to drop off their empty clean containers for inspection. The aim of the program is to encourage the chemical users / farmers to use the program and make rinsing their containers common practice.

The drumMUSTER program provides a range of environmental, economical and social benefits to the chemical user and the community as a whole. They include a safe, cost effective solution to the disposal problem of empty containers, and the production of a valuable recyclable commodity.

Collections for the drumMuster program are carried out at two sites within the Clarence Valley Council area:

Grafton Regional Landfill
407 Armidale Road, South Grafton
Ongoing collections Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.00pm by appointment.
