It all began with a conversation about how to 'close the gap' and how to best meet the needs of Aboriginal students - and now it's FRESH START, an award winning education and employment package for the Clarence Valley.

The Forum is a unique partnership between business, education and the community. It contributes to the social, economic and cultural development of the Clarence Valley. Informed by local enterprise and industry, the partnership seeks to have a sustainable community impact by working collaboratively and sharing resources that will develop our young people’s futures through targeted secondary and tertiary education programs.

Current priorities:

  • Clarence Valley Careerlink (A head start for young people achieving vocational qualifications in the senior school)
  • Clarence Valley Fresh Start (Aboriginal students making successful transitions: capturing and sustaining enthusiasm for learning and employment)
  • Clarence Valley Stellar (Aspirational students securing their futures: high achievement through innovative opportunities and pathways)

Take a peek at students developing hospitality skills through practical and locally delivered enterprise learning.
