Council's Code of Conduct sets the minimum standards of conduct for council officials, inclusive of councillors, council officers (continuing, fractional), volunteers and committee members. It is derived from the Model Code and is prescribed by regulation. It helps council officials to understand and comply with the standards of conduct that are expected of them, and enables them to fulfil their statutory duty to act honestly and exercise a reasonable degree of care and diligence. Council's Code of Conduct V9.0 was approved at the Council Meeting 26 April 2022 and is accompanied by the detailed Procedures for the Administration of the Model Code of Conduct.
