Disaster resilience

Did you know that 97% of all disaster funding is spent on the clean-up and just 3% on mitigation, preparedness and resilience?

The Resilient Clarence program aims to address this imbalance. The year-long program intends to capture and share examples of local resilience after the unprecedented 2019/20 bushfires. Through community-led workshops and events, those impacted by the fires can support and inspire each other, build capacity, reconnect with nature and share (cultural) knowledge.
