COVID-19

From Monday 11 October, we join the rest of NSW in working towards an easing of restrictions across the state. 

Mandatory mask wearing and check-in remains a standard requirement of entry at council venues and facilities, and density limits apply to all indoor settings.   

Changes to conditions

From Monday 11 October, some services are open only to vaccinated members of the public including:

  • Libraries
  • Museums
  • Grafton Regional Gallery
  • Treelands Dr Community Centre

Customer services

Our customer service team is fully functional in Maclean. Mask wearing and check-in is mandatory but people do not require a vaccination certification to visit.

The council office at 42 Victoria Street, Grafton has closed permanently, and will be relocated to 2 Prince Street when refurbishment works are complete. We expect to open to the public on Monday 25 October 2021. 

A second customer service office has been set up at our Rushforth Rd Works Depot due to the closure of our temporary office at 42 Victoria St, Grafton, however we ask that customers take advantage of our online and phone services where possible before making a visit, due to space limitations. 

Council meetings

  • Deputations, committee meetings and Council meetings are being broadcast on Twitch, which can be accessed via a link on our Facebook page. As the Clarence Valley Council Facebook page is publicly accessible, you can still tune in even if you don't have a Facebook account.
