Grant funding is offered on a rotational basis in the valley. Council also offers a free heritage advisory service on proposed maintenance, restoration, and new works. Council's 2018 Heritage Assistance Grants are now open!
This year the grants are prioritised to heritage items in the Copmanhurst, Nymboida, Ulmarra and surrounding rural areas, and to historic properties in the Ulmarra Conservation Area.
Applications for works to other historic properties and places of potential heritage significance within the Nymboida and Ulmarra Heritage Study Area will also be considered.
Applications from outside the priority area will be considered subject to funding availability after allocation to the priority area.
Grants will generally be offered at $2,000 per property with a minimum $ for $ matching contribution by the owner.
The guidelines and the online application form can be found at Clarence SmartyGrants
