Pedestrian access and mobility plan (PAMP) and bike plan

Council is committed to providing long term planning for pedestrian and cycling access and mobility.

This page will be changing to "Active Transport Plan" under the new State Government framework. Council will be reviewing and updating the documents below under the new guidelines and will be seeking your input.  In the meantime watch this space for updates.

This is with the aim of promoting walking and cycling as sustainable modes of active transport for short trip destinations and thus also contributing to improving equity, health and the environment within the community.

The Bike Plan and PAMP is a comprehensive strategic approach to identifying a cycling and pedestrian network. The Bike Plan and PAMP both reflects the changes in the context for walking and cycling and leads to a consistent approach to these modes throughout the Council area.
