Council has made a commitment to organise a collection site and run collections for chemical users / farmers to drop off their empty clean containers for inspection.
drumMUSTER is the national program for the collection and recycling of empty, cleaned, non-returnable crop production and on-farm animal health chemical containers.
Council has made a commitment to manage a collection site so that chemical users and farmers can drop off their empty, clean containers for recycling. The aim of the program is to encourage chemical users to use the program and make triple rinsing their containers common practice.
The drumMUSTER program provides a range of environmental, economic and social benefits to the chemical user and the community as a whole. They include a safe, cost effective solution to the disposal problem of empty containers, and the production of a valuable recyclable commodity.
