As the news about novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop it is important to take sensible steps to look after yourself and your family.
If you’ve got friends and family visiting at the moment or you’re just staying in our region for a while, remember to always be COVID safe. We’re planning for a COVID Safe Summer.
We are monitoring the situation and taking advice from the NSW and Australian governments, this means if the situation changes so too might our service levels - we will update this page as required.
It is important to seek support if you are feeling overwhelmed. Speaking with friends or family to let them know how you feel can help, and they might also appreciate talking to you about how they feel. There are also many digital mental health services that you can access online or over the phone, or you can connect with a health professional such as your GP, a psychologist, or other mental health professional.
The general advice for everyone is to continue to clean your hands regularly and to cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue. Keep an eye out for updates from reliable sources such as advice issued by the NSW or Australian governments.
Most importantly – stay at home if you are feeling unwell, seek medical attention: always call ahead first, either your GP or Healthdirect on 1800 022 222.
