Clarence Valley Council Delegations
The Local Government Act, at section 377, provides for Council by resolution to make delegations to the General Manager to assist in his responsibility to manage the day to day affairs of the Council. In turn, the General Manager may then make further delegations to individual staff to assist in the efficient and effective administration of Council.
The Local Government Act, Section 377, also authorises Council to delegate any of its functions to external or other bodies.
