In 2021, we installed rubber soft fall surface under the basket swing, carousel, flying fox, trampoline, café and sound play as well as half-court multiuse court, inclusive and accessible playground, picnic shelter & facilities, footpath connections along Scullin St and within the park, shade structures and plantings.

Benefits of the project included:

  • Improved pedestrian access along Scullin St and within the park
  • Improved picnic facilities and areas
  • Increased range of play activities designed to engage and challenge park visitors
  • A safer and more comfortable park experience


 The project was funded and supported by the Australian Government, NSW Government, Lions Club of Maclean, and Council.
