A free bulky waste collection is available annually to all households in the Clarence Valley who currently receive a weekly kerbside domestic waste service. This service is an on-call and personalised service which can be booked at a time that best suits your household.
Bulky waste includes items which are too big for the fortnightly kerbside red bin collection, like mattresses, white goods, broken furniture and scrap metal. The bulky waste collection is designed to assist residents who may not have access to a trailer to get their larger items to our regional landfill
Op shops may accept your clean, functioning items (other than electrical items and mattresses); or there are several online platforms for selling or rehoming, including Clarence Valley Buy, Swap, Sell; Clarence Valley Waste Not Want Not; Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree.
