From 11 October are working towards an easing of COVID restrictions. Density limits apply to all settings, check-in and masks are mandatory indoors in council venues and facilities, including our customer service centres.Some services will only be open to fully vaccinated people, including libraries, museums, galleries Treelands Drive Community Centre and the Environment Learning Facility.
Council meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month, starting at 2pm. Agendas (Business Papers) are available on the Friday prior to the meeting and the minutes are available on the Friday after the meeting.
Subject to COVID-19 restrictions, all meetings are open to the public. Meetings are also livestreamed.

The council holds a public forum prior to every committee meeting, held on the second Tuesday of each month, to hear oral deputations from members of the public. To speak, you must apply to Council by 4pm on the Friday before the public forum. Each speaker will be allowed up to 5 minutes to address Council, and there will be no more than three speakers for and against any item of business.
Note that the General Manager may refuse an application to speak at a public forum.
