Pothole Patching

  • Wooli Road

Ongoing Grading Program

Maintenance Program

  • Sealing - Brooms Head Road and Golf Links Road
  • Heavy patching - Armidale Road 

Drainage Program

  • Spray grass surface drains recently completed in Gulmarrad area
  • Historic Park road drainage - Major Mitchell Drive, Gulmarrad
  • Weir Road - pipe replacement, inlet, outlet protection and cleaning of pipes. 

 

Bridge Design and Construction Works

  • Billys Creek Bridge on Armidale Road – New bridge deck complete.  Road approach works ongoing.

  •  Bluff Bridge – Deck being formed, reinforced and poured.  Road approaches being constructed.  

 

Current & upcoming Capital works

  • Yamba Road and Palmers Channel Southbank Road intersection – Construction works have commenced. Pavement widening works is currently underway. Traffic Control and detours will be in place during construction.
  • Bridge Street Drainage, Glenreagh – Construction commenced.  Southern swale drain and causeway along Railway St complete. Northern swale drain construction to commence.
  • Brooms Head Road shoulder widening – Planning and design underway for construction this financial year.
  • Maclean Levee / River St shared zone connection – Planning and design underway for construction this financial year.
  • Sandy Creek crossing - Wooli Road, Pillar Valley – Planning and design underway for construction this financial year.
  • Stage 2 - Alexander St to Short St upgrade – Planning and design underway for construction next financial year.

 

Footpath/Kerb Gutter/Boat Ramps/Jetties

  • Treelands Drive - construction new footpath between Gumnut Road and Osprey Drive 
  • River Street, Maclean - footpath construction
  • Replacing BBQ's at Brushgrove

Flood Repair Works

  • Old Glen Innes Road – final grading of the road underway
  • Yamba Road, Shallow Channel to Romiaka Bridge –finishing works to be completed
  • Goodwood Island Road – roadworks underway
  • School Road, Palmers Island – pavement rehabilitation works are progressing
  • Armidale Road (Nymboida to Ebor) – pavement rehabilitation works have started and are progressing Traffic delays with traffic down to one lane
  • Callagans Creed Road, Lower Coldstream - pavement rehabilitation works are underway
