Pothole Patching

Bridge Design and Construction Works

  • Billys Creek Bridge on Armidale Road – New bridge deck complete. Road approach works ongoing.
  • Bluff Bridge – Deck being formed, reinforced and poured. Road approaches being constructed.

 

 

Current & upcoming Capital works

  • Yamba Road and Palmers Channel Southbank Road intersection – Construction works have commenced. Service relocation is scheduled to begin in early 2026. Pavement widening works is currently underway. Traffic Control and detours will be in place during construction.
  • Brooms Head Road shoulder widening – Planning and design underway for construction this financial year.
  • Maclean Levee / River Street shared zone connection – Planning and design underway for construction this financial year.
  • Sandy Ck crossing - Wooli Road, Pillar Valley – Planning and design underway for construction this financial year.
  • Stage 2 - Alexander Street to Short Street upgrade – Planning and design underway. Community consultation will be open for public comment over the Christmas holiday period. Construction is scheduled to begin next financial year.

Footpath/Kerb Gutter/Boat Ramps/Jetties

  • Boatramp cleaning CVC Area
  • Treelands Drive footpath construction
  • Brooms Head caravan park toilet block repairs 
  • Woodford Street, Maclean kerb and gutter repair works. 

Flood Repair Works

  • Old Glen Innes Road – final grading of the road will continue.
  • Armidale Road (Nymboida to Ebor) – pavement rehabilitation works are progressing. Traffic delays with traffic down to one lane.
  • Orara Way - pavement patching will commence.
