Public feedback is invited for the proposed local event part-day in Police Patrol districts of Maclean, Yamba, Iluka and Lawrence.
Council is expected to "undertake a public consultation process to assess community sentiment as well as the costs and benefits to regional businesses and local communities".
Applications are due to the Department of Premier & Cabinet in November and must be accompanied by a Council resolution and feedback from community consultation.

Submissions for these proposed dates are most welcome and should be forwarded to Council and will not be accepted after 4:00pm Thursday, 2 October.
All submissions will be included as part of a report to Council for determination in the next Council meeting.
