This Policy replaced the Financial Planning Policy V6.0. This new policy provides an overarching framework for Council’s financial governance and sound financial management within Council, ensuring public funds are managed responsibly, transparently, and in line with legislative requirements. It supports financial sustainability, accountability, and the delivery of services to the community. It is inline with required legislation and best practice and has been endorsed by the ARIC committee.
