Advisory Committees

Our Advisory Committees (CACs) have been established for a range of purposes, with the intent of providing Council with advice and recommendations to inform the decisions made by Council.

Accessible and Connected Infrastructure Advisory Committee

The purpose of the Accessible and Connected Infrastructure Advisory Committee is to provide advice and assist Clarence Valley Council with community and stakeholder engagement activities on issues and opportunities related to infrastructure and facilities that are safe, accessible and serve the needs of the Clarence.

Environment and Sustainability Advisory Committee

The purpose of the Environment and Sustainability Advisory Committee is to provide advice and assist Clarence Valley Council with community and stakeholder engagement activities on issues and opportunities related to the local environment, sustainability and natural hazards management.

Economic Development Advisory Committee

The purpose of the Economic Development Advisory Committee is to provide advice and assist Clarence Valley Council with community and stakeholder engagement activities on issues and opportunities related to a diverse economy that complements the environmental and social values of the Clarence.

Community and Liveability Advisory Committee

The purpose of the Community and Liveability Advisory Committee is to provide advice and assist Clarence Valley Council with community and stakeholder engagement activities on issues and opportunities related to the community wellbeing and liveability, resilience, arts and culture, open space and heritage.
