This policy has been updated to reflect:
- Changes on responsible manager
- Expansion of legislative requirements to include Public Health Act and Protection of the Environment Operations Act
- Inclusion of the NSW DPIE Regulatory and assurance framework for local water utilities (2022) as part of the supporting and related documents to the policy. The framework sets out the rules, performance standards, and reporting requirements ensuring council-owned water and sewerage services can manage risk and service needs effectively and strategically.
- The need to keep up to date its reference on the ongoing revisions of Council’s Recycled Water Management Plans
